When I do to the map portal the BMI and the Buys and Sells are the same for the SPY, IWM, DIA and the QQQ. I know this isn't right, what am I doing wrong?
Hey Rich, the BMI data doesn't change as it is tracking thousands of stocks each day. You are able to select the different ETFs as a way to visualize the correlation. So the latest up-move in the BMI is due to small cap stocks which you can see in the portal by selecting the Market Cap Chart module. When you map the BMI over IWM (small cap index) you'll see how the buys correlate to that index more than the larger cap index ETFs.
Would you mind suggest some small cap stocks for reference ?
Can I find the Small Cap Stocks by filter at Portal, or any other method for me to find the right small-cap stocks for reference? Thanks!
Plenty can be found in the portal in the Top Ranked Stocks Module. Also, the Daily Stock Analysis module allows you to see the stocks getting bought by sector and score. Plenty of small-caps are the highest ranked names. Expect many to show up on Tuesday's Top 20
Thanks! and How do u define the small cap, how big size?
Small-caps are generally between $300 million & $2 billion in market capitalization. Mid-cap, between $2 & $10 billion in market cap, and Large-cap are over $10 billion.
Jason and Lucas, Your data is a stunning experience to work with. Your tutorials and training videos are excellent and easily applicable to stock selections. Our portfolio is performing very well. Jason and Lucas, I read an interesting piece in TradeSmith Daily by Michael Salvatore on July 31, 2024. Michael calls it the "two-day beat down strategy." VRSK, mid-cap, was featured among other large cap stocks with a 72.7% win rate for "bounce back like tennis balls" analogy. It meets the criteria as a beaten down mid cap stock with a quick 11% pull back today following a positive earnings report. On Map View, I see.. A company description that I really like a lot as a leader in the industrial sector. Favored by 70% of FORTUNE 100 companies for their leadership in Business and Professional Services. Fundamentals 54.18% I've seen better. Technicals 55.88% I've seen much better. Quantum Score 55.2% Meh.. 5 Big Money Signals in the past 90 days, hopeful. Positive sales growth of 7.4% in 1 year, OK -0.6% sales growth in 3 years (not bad given the small-mid cap struggles since 2022.) Profit margin is +28.8%. ( I like it!) 1 year EPS is +11.1 % but 3 year EPS is weak at +3.4% 998.5% debt/equity and a DEBT/EBITDA ratio of 2.1. Well, I find that interesting for a 50 year old company with consistent strong bullish performance in the market. Not being judgmental here, just not sure how that happens? Do you put stocks like VRSK in the "C" rated pile or just keep scrolling? I invested into a small position, I will let you know later if I took a "sucker" punch on this one.. Patricia and Jeffrey
